    Founder & Therapist

    Walking alongside as you discover, challenge, uproot, or embrace your path is an honor and privilege. My calling lies in helping people shape their most important endeavor, which is creating a beautiful and meaningful life. I provide an empathic, kind, and patient space large enough to hold all of the big feelings, experiences, and difficult situations inherent in the human experience.

    I am committed to the well-being of my clients and find great fulfillment in assisting them to create and fully live their best lives. I work with diverse populations, from business professionals to young adults navigating life. I also provide therapeutic services to fellow therapists so they can mindfully continue their important work of supporting others.

    ​Integrating a variety of approaches is essential to my philosophy of care. Drawing on various theories and approaches allows for creativity, flow, and flexibility in our therapeutic work. I am dedicated to continuous learning and I am always educating myself on new ways to serve clients. Some approaches you can expect working with me include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, somatic work, attachment, and narrative therapy.

    Therapist

    Jacky has 8+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults experiencing a wide array of difficulties. She has expertise in working with clients seeking to address symptoms related to: anxiety, depression, mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive issues, trauma, divorce, non-traditional family dynamics, and LGBT+ issues. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing & solution-focus treatment modalities.

    Therapist

    Kristen Wojtuniak, LMSW, is a licensed social worker who has 7+ years of experience working with teenagers, adolescents, and adults who experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, difficulty with life transitions, obsessive compulsive disorders including body dysmorphia and/or body image, lack of self esteem, eating disorders, and chronic illness. She specializes in Cognitive behavioral therapy to assist in stress reduction and changing negative thought patterns to become an active leader in your care and form healthy ways to cope. She promotes positive mantras and positive thinking to have you live in a more healthier environment in order to be productive and achieve your goals.

    Emma has 8+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a wide range of life experiences and challenges. Her warm and empathic approach is strengths-based, person-centered, and holistic. Emma utilizes a variety of treatment modalities including CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), mindfulness, ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), creative arts/music therapy, and play therapy (when working with children.)

    Tina Pedus, LMSW, is a licensed social worker who has 13+ years of experience working with children and families faced with challenges including the foster care system, homelessness, and divorce. Tina draws from all types of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioural therapy and narrative therapy to ensure her clients are provided with the tools they need to be successful in their therapeutic journey.

    Lisa

    Therapist

    Lisa is a passionate and dedicated clinician who has experience working with children and adolescents from ages 5-18, as well as adults. She has worked with multiple populations including individuals with severe and persistent mental health diagnoses, and children with developmental disabilities. Lisa utilizes a strengths perspective when working with patients, she is committed to building positive therapeutic relationship with each of her clients to assist them in developing helpful strategies while keeping a positive mindset to accomplish their future goals and guide them on their healing journey.

    Katie

    Therapist

    Katie is a devoted clinician with over 8 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. She is formally trained in multiple evidence based practices which are utilized to address symptoms of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma/PTSD, OCD and multiple other mental health conditions. Common issues explored in therapy include self-esteem, social skills, sexuality, relationship issues, life stages, trust, intimacy, boundaries and communication. Katie's person-centered approach allows sessions to be modified to best meet specific individualized needs.

    Caitlin is a licensed social worker who has experience working with adolescents and adults. She has worked with a diverse population including individuals who are incarcerated and individuals with severe and persistent mental health diagnoses and cognitive limitations. Caitlin's approach to therapy is eclectic as she utilizes many therapeutic modalities from narrative therapy, Cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness practices. She is committed to empowering her clients to assist them in developing tools that they can use to accomplish their goals and continue on their journey of healing.

    Aileen Denis

    Therapist

    Aileen is a licensed master social worker and has recently become full-time with the practice in September 2022 with virtual and in-person availability. Aileen is passionate, motivated and adaptable therapist with experience working in mental health and substance abuse facilities located in Long Island and Queens, NY. Aileen has worked with multiple populations including school aged children, teens, and adults diagnosed with mental health, substance abuse and trauma related disorders. Prior to becoming a licensed social worker, Aileen was previously employed as a Behavior Specialist utilizing behavior modification strategies to assist individuals and families in managing maladaptive behaviors. Aileen has experience collaborating with outside entities including schools, programs, family members, legal entities, and mental health and substance use facilities to best serve and support clients. Currently, Aileen utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy strategies when working with clients experiencing symptoms associated with Depression, Anxiety, ADHD and PTSD. In addition, Aileen utilizes behavior modification strategies to assist with school aged children/teens exhibiting challenges in school/home who may be diagnosed with behavioral challenges, emotional dysregulation, or ADHD/ Anxiety. Aileen is committed to advocate and support her clients.

    Phil Gape

    Therapist

    Phil is a licensed clinical social worker and a Reiki Practitioner. He utilizes a blend of cognitive, behavioral, and mindfulness-based approaches to explore how clients can draw out natural resilience skills and build support networks.

    With 3+ years of experience of providing clinical crisis management support, he is adept at facilitating the collaborative processes of identifying, prioritizing, and addressing treatment goals with individuals living with severe and persistent mental health conditions.
